Storm Kristin: NOS service restoration progresses
Mobile coverage has been restored in all municipal seats across the most affected areas (Leiria, Coimbra and Santarém). Currently, 98% of NOS’s mobile service and 95% of its fixed service have now been restored, with the latter dependent on the electricity supply. Restoration work continues 24/7, progressing in stages and in coordination with Civil Protection, although it remains subject to external factors. We have contingency measures in place, prioritising critical communications and emergency operations.
